Impoverished individuals consistently pay for the persistent civil conflicts and
consequences of economic turmoil in developing and underdeveloped nations like
Afghanistan. Homeless women and children in Kabul are among the susceptible
casualties of political shifts and severe economic and humanitarian crises, including lack of food leading to malnutrition. These communities are the foremost victims deprived of fundamental essentials for existence, like sustenance and refuge, often at the peril of their own lives.

According to the World Health Organization report, more than three million children in Afghanistan are at risk of starvation and malnutrition. This statistic shows a high number of exposure of children to malnutrition. In a recently published report, UNICEF stated that over 900k children in Afghanistan suffer from malnutrition, while many are at risk of death.
Unfortunately, this is a significant catastrophe for Afghan society, particularly for
the underprivileged and homeless kids. The reports accumulated by Aseel during
the distribution of humanitarian aid in more than 29 provinces across Afghanistan
show that most vulnerable families residing in the capital city and other provinces
of Afghanistan need immediate humanitarian aid.

Afghanistan is now among the world's top countries hit by immense humanitarian
crises. As of today, approximately 60% of people live in poverty, a massive increase
from less than 40% in 2007. Aseel, being responsive to Afghan's problems, initiated numerous projects through its tech-based platform Aseel Do Good which has effectively assisted countless disadvantaged and orphaned children.
For instance, the Aseel campaigns assisted in transferring food packages to the
families of orphans and vulnerable children and the distribution of winter clothing
and food packages to street children during the winter. Additionally, using Aseel's
Buy Good online marketplace, unemployed artisan women unable to obtain jobs can now support their families and get free medical treatment.

"We are proud that we have been able to help over 10,000 children in various
provinces of Afghanistan and give those Omid ID cards. Because the Omid cards
help distribute humanitarian aid bringing hope and smiles for these children," says
Anwar Mirzaei, an employee of Aseel Do Good Team.

Committed to our mission of breaking the cycle of starvation, Aseel passionately
calls on everyone to back the families of these children and unite them in
participating in these campaigns. These efforts aim to mitigate the impact of this
disaster and aid the children fighting severe malnourishment. By standing with Aseel, you directly contribute to furnishing malnourished children with basic food
and shelter needs.
