From Central Baghlan, Afghanistan, Fareema has over 20 years of tailoring experience and a lifelong passion for traditional Afghan fashion. In 2021, she launched Ababil Zaitoon, a women-led clothing brand creating Afghani scarves (Gand), party dresses, and intricate Sim Sari embellishments.

She now leads a team of 30 women artisans, providing jobs, mentorship, and financial independence.

Founder of Alam Taj Handicrafts, Estorai brings over two decades of experience in tailoring and Afghan handicrafts. Her team of six artisans—specialists in leather embroidery, beadwork, and tailored garments—operates from the Bakhtar Market in Pul-e-Khumri.

Trained in Iran and inspired by her cultural roots, Estorai’s mission is to create job opportunities for women and make Afghan fashion globally accessible.
